Very comfortable and clean, good location
The apartment was spacious and clean with a separate bedroom. We had a large sitting/dining room and a little balcony at the front where we could sit out and look at the Skyline Gondola going up and down. The kitchenette is small with a two ring cooker but adequate for our needs at the time. There are laundry facilities, which cost NZD4 per wash and dry, which we used successfully. The apartment is about 10-15 minutes walk to the town centre where the shops, restaurants and pubs are located - a lovely walk along the lake. The town centre is very lively so probably better to stay here if you want a quiet life. We did the Milford Sound all day bus trip and the pick up point was around the corner in front of the Millennium Hotel. Good base for day trips to Arrowtown [wonderful museum, lovely quaint old buildings], Glenorchy and its wonderful scenery, and of course Milford sound. Off street parking and good WIFI.
